YES!!! people *drumroll* HAVE died of boredom. only that sometimes its called ennui. and heres a case study: (i hope i dont sound like a textbook or i'll die of um, boring myself to death = boredom!) anyway: in 1904, Greenville, Kentucky, USA, a woman accidentally locked herself in her basement. becasue the woman was suffering from chronic displashyia, which means that the neurons in her brain constantly needed stimulation in order for her to continue to think and, therefore, survive. However, because she did not recieve any human contact for over two days, her brain slowing deteriorated from not having anything to stimulate her attention and, thus, she died of... BOREDOM!!! yay! people CAN sorta die of boredom... but i dont wanna die of boredom.. if i must i'll die of curiosity. just not now,a fe more decades, yeah (: AND, on one topic on yahoo answers, guess how many people agreed you could die of boredom? just on ONE question... *drumroll* SIX people!!! and i swear im not one of them!!! yahoo to yahoo answers!!! ps. this is not the long post i promised would come sometime before the ne wyear (i never said which year) but maybe its long? someday, this sleeping giant... will reach for the stars 6:12 PM
