it would make more sense if everyone was conjoined. then we wouldnt have a mind of our own, and at least its not so pathetic... these dependant thoughts might not even be conscious. although most of them are. we follow the thoughts of our teachers, boss, supervisors, our even the "popular" just because we are scared of them or we dont wanna be the odd one out. and in that way, we arent making a difference! we arent even being heard... then theres no use in being here anyway... i guess its hard for us to totally make up our own minds, but maybe we could start small. SMALL. maybe we can just stop following public opinion. in terms of preferences? thats really small. make known your prefernces. wear that (hideous) top you bought and never wore for 5yrs. isnt it boring to see everyone wearing the same thing? guys go to work in collared shirts and pants. maybe one day wear a hawaiin shirt, its still within your dress code. add colour to this place. which is getting all urbanised and cold. zzz. if we just do ONE thing that people think is stupid or uncool or simply YOU never tried before everyday, we would be doing something! even if only half of the stuff you never tried before turns out to be really great, even if its only one quarter, thats like almost 100! and we would have 100 more nice choices next year! it could be a new way to tie that tie, or blend coffee with red tea, or try that weird new song at ddr. even if only ten people read this. thats like 1000 cool stuff we have next year. just from one thing a day! someday, this sleeping giant... will reach for the stars 5:39 PM
